standing in the meadow
looking across to the shore
there stood a girl
who didnt want her life anymore
so tired of being sad
and very often mad
this was a life she
wish she never had
what could she do
where would she go
these are things she did not know
to stay in that place
would be quite a scare
if she stayed there too long
she would be way beyond repair
one day she will flee
and off she will go
to be happy at last
because she will be away from her past

Plain, short, sweet, and simple - just the way it's supposed to be! |
