Too Beautiful For Words


I have used poetry and rhyme
To describe many a woman
And so I felt qualified
To come and meet you today

Well I don’t know what to say
I have looked at you and tried
But am dumbstruck – useless man!
I cannot find the words this time

Honesty is best so here goes:
You are too beautiful for words
Short and simple but true

To describe you is beyond me
And anything that I say
Will flatter neither me nor you
