We Put Everything We Are Into It

You’ve been an inspiration
Why I gave up drinking
You showed me life’s good
Better than I thought

So I thought I ought
To love you - - I should
And I do and I got to thinking
About us and our situation

We’re better off living apart
But get together whenever
When we want some affirmation

Its to both our mutual benefit
And a completely special relationship
We put everything we are into it

Its nice of giving up drinking for love. If I OV I would even give my life for love
