It’s the simple things that matter.
Those overly extravagant things make you feel,
As if you owe the person in life’s latter.

The simple things count.
When the person doesn’t have time to think about,
The benefits versus the cost or amount.

Simple things truly make a change,
Gestures that show care,
Even to those truly strange.
