The Facts Of Life

Contributed by angelus8663 on Saturday, 31st December 2011 @ 02:24:57 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

The little boy came in the room, and ran to his dad,
The boy was jumping up and down, almost going mad.
The father told him to calm down, and say what was on his mind,
“Tell me your question my boy, and the answer we will find.”

The boy tried to calm himself, he was really very wired,
“what does the word sex mean dad?” he innocently inquired.
The father was shocked to be asked this, if the truth be told,
For his little boy was growing up, he was only ten years old.

The father sat him on his knee, and explained the facts of life,
About where babies come from, and the love between man and wife.
Through this discourse the boy sat still, unable to believe what he heard,
When finally the dad was done, the boy stuttered out some words.

“So that’s where babies come from, and why the girls kiss boys,
Though I must say I’m not interested, I much prefer my toys.”
The dad was happy to hear this, to have dealt with a matter so complex,
The boy said “by the way, mum said dinner will be ready in two sex”
