HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Contributed by dvtpdw on Saturday, 31st December 2011 @ 12:59:03 PM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

A new year is quickly upon us
Will it be a winner or a bust
I vote for good fortune, love and joy
You can never tell with that diapered boy

Last year ran somewhere in the mediocre
I think father time was playing the joker
We won in some areas, lost some big battles
This year, we'll try for not being so rattled

May this new son of time bring you hope
May you have the strength it will take to cope
With the ups and downs that are sure to come
May this New Year be your most wondrous one

As the days carry forth, may love be with you
As the months pass by, may good fortune be, too
As the year sings on, may happiness be your tune
May all your dreams and wishes come true

Happy New Year to all friends and family
Even to those whom we no longer will see
Carry the hope for new chances in your heart
This will be the best year from the start

nicely packaged sentiment. I think the little bugger will mature nicely, once we get through toddler tantrums and teen angst.
HNY!
