Dawn's iced light breaks the blackness,
I'm left feeling shattered, shades of gray,
I label it rage but recognize my own sadness,
Waking as a crow, I had slept a dove were I lay,
A smirk manifests before tears force through stone,
My internal shrieks heard in the underworld,
Feet leave the fixed ground and now I'm alone,
Gravity removed itself, my vision swirled,
It is here that only misery shall exist,
Days turn to years and my search will not have you found,
Now I'm cold, numb, my heart welcomes your twist,
Where are you light, I can not hear your sound,
Your impressions have built these walls,
Find a new light a wise man told me, when all's failed,
Now stronger your parasite bursts from my vein, I watch as it falls,
Your light abandoned you too, your ship has sailed,
My feathers of black reflect against nothingness, in search of new,
So suddenly it happened, the most most beautiful view,
Its not just beauty, it is you,
I knew someday it would happen, you would find my light too
