Dreamers close their eyes,
reality they despise,
hoping that their sleep will never end.
Keeping the world out,
is what their sleep's about,
living in the slumber of pretend.
From light they disembark.
Pulled curtains make it dark.
A pill or two just to shut out sound.
Soft pillows for their head.
To all affects they're dead.
Humans that run themselves aground.
The only price they pay
is sleeping life away.
Never really knowing what they miss.
To live brings too much pain,
from life they would abstain.
Love too, they gladly will dismiss.

There are dreamers that "DO" by working
toward a set of heartfelt goals. The other
kind of dreamer is the one who dreams something, then waits in the closet for
something to come TO him. Dreams are just
the beginning of success. Blood, sweat, and tears are what muscles a dream into a reality. I
believe that is what you are trying to convey
here if I am not mistaken. If not, be sure to
correct me.
Blessings,
