(PSALM 139: 7-12)
David was a repentant man.
He confessed all his hated sins.
But he simply could not forget them.
What he said bears repeating again.
In essence, “Whither shall I go from thee,
Or whither shall I flee?”
“If I ascend into the heavens,
You are waiting there for me!”
“If I make my bed in Hell’s fire,
Behold, You are also there too!”
“If I take the wings of the morning,
Or dwell in the uttermost depth of the sea,
Even there shall Thy hands lead me,
For the darkness hides it’s face from Thee!”
Now Robert is a repentant man.
He confesses all his hated sins.
But he simply can not forget them.
Until He Who’s Perfect comes again!
