sometimes I wonder why
you can not say what you feel
just give it a try
it will have some appeal

I wonder if you want
the same things I do
it often leaves me wondering
and often feeling blue

I sometimes ache
when you do not reveal
and my heart breaks
can you see what we have is real

goals are set
that you made for us
but often these are
things that you do not want
to discuss

I love you for always
way beyond the stars
and I hope that one day
that at last you will finally say
the words I want to hear
because what we have together
is so so very dear

You have put into words the sound hidden in my heart. Your poetry is so vivid, words that bring emotion. I enjoyed this one. Thank you for sharing.
