As I sit and look deep in my thoughts...
My heart beats fast...
I dont know when it will stop.
It hurts so bad...
It haunts my soul.
Its taken my sanity..
Its out of control.
Its taken over my life..
Its like a disease.
I cant get rid of it...
I want to be free.

It's good cause it's from the source of your pain. As you continue to put your thoughts and emotions on paper from that special place within you will discover some healing that comes with the ralization that life can turn on us or reward us out of nowhere but then we die, Nothing lasts forever good or bad. It is all about drawing that next breath we are all standing in the same line |

Poetry began for me nearly 20 years ago as a way for me to deal with the divorce of my parents and an awkward coming of age. I was very private about my work then. In my early twenties, about eight years ago I began sharing it because for the most part I was very even tempered, even hearted, even minded because of its affect on me over the years.
The point is that art is where madness can be transformed into sensibility, where passion can be restrained to social centering, and where fires can be lit, consumed, regurgitated and we can all enjoy the scent of the ashes. If you've come to the pen for purposes of therapy, you've come to the right place and also if this is where you've turned you can go ahead and refer to yourself from this moment on as a writer. No matter where you go from here, you are now a writer. You have the right and talent to contribute your vocabularies to us all.
Good Job!
