Let Go

Sincerely you,
What can I do?
You have been my inspiration,
Filled my heart with admiration,
Then you broke and burned me,
You had spread my ashes, they flew free,
Yet I'm still here,
Knowing I am nothing close to what you hold dear.
Now I find myself a scapegoat,
But here you are sinking my boat,
My life you have ruined,
My chance at happiness you have ruined,
My tears you can't bear,
Then why keep me here when I can be there.
Away from you is what I thought you wished,
But no, a broken heart and tears you dished.
Why keep me here,
Why keep me near?
I'm broken but so are you.
To keep me here cannot help you through.
That hole cannot be filled with another hole.
I am not whole.
I can't help your pain with mine.
I ask but you say your fine.
You don't want help but you can't let go,
Your head never hung low.
Your fake smile,
never fools me for awhile.
I know your pain,
For me your the main.
You broke me and now you won't let go to try to fill your hole,
Let go before your black hole swallows us whole.
