Masqueraded Dreams of Endless Blue
I.
As I break down,
Into dimensions of 2—
Sanity begins to dwell upon
The absence of you—
Black holes of delusions--
Carry me as light.
Arms lay idle in air—
Penetrating particles—that--
Simmer yellow beads of hope --
Red malice masquerading
As stars in skies--
Drip rays on this world.
Reign of Tears--
Burn Shores; Close doors.
Time-Time-Time-and-
The stench of wine,
Dowse me with pink roses
Fields of green—dance--
Upon my soul—
Thoughts fly--as kites—
Attracted to strings---
Drifting effortlessly in blue.
Should I, or should I--Not,
Dream of you—this night?
[My eyes shut]
II.
Marble ballroom glazed—with—
Black dresses--Boast elegance,
Crystal chandeliers roam--
From room to room.
Linens of silk--shade statues
Of Roman veneer—
Golden Doors—that house--
Horsemen in Battles,
Echo the tunes of
Grand pianos—sway--
Ghosts that Glide-in-
Synchronized orders—
[You grab my hand.
--I turn abruptly--
I see you—you see me]
III.
My heart—catches stars—
2 eyes and dark brown hair,
Lips red like sugar cane,
Warm like summer days—and--
Courtesy like a glass of—Hennessy.
[We Dance]
IIII.
[I awake]
Chime-Chime-Chime-and-
The rhyme of sound--
Awake me from this crime.
In my dreams,
Time relic moments—like—
A dandelion tries to duplicate—
The sun’s--Deadly rays—though--
Yellow and orange decay--
As I lie--
My Love-She—
Dances away—
As I break down,
Into dimensions of 2.
