Teacher of Forgetfulness
Then I shall look through things old
Chilled with words that hide your face
Lift dry roses up to lips
And sift the darkness from my memory
To see again the hazel eyes
Of my first teacher of forgetfulness

I forgot to forget what I remembered,
which just gets more jumbled each time
I don't say it, if you know what I mean!
Cause I sure don't! Smiles! And Happy
New Year!
Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns (Rob) |
