What a lonely Christmas...
One that held so much promise... beauty, and joy...
Now... My thoughts are dark, and full of sorrow, I'm just praying to get thru tomorrow...
I've lost someone that was my world...
But I... I was but a grain of sand running thru her shaking hand...
Are paths to different, cultures not understood, what she expected of me I wish I could...
Wishing I could turn back time, and take back what was said, and hold her in my arms once again...
What a lonely Christmas...
She is gone forever more... She shut off her heart, she closed the door...
No flower, letter, or cry for foregiveness will make her see...
She was the world to me...
But I... I was but a grain of sand falling from her shaking hand...
A lonely Christmas... A lonely existence...
