A trusted friend is leaving soon,
It’s time to go away.
We’d spent much time for comfort’s sake,
T P simply cannot stay!
T P would save me from brown skids,
Like Captain Kirk wiping Klingon’s out,
As all hands circled Uranus,
We would stand and cheer and shout!
But the more we shared our private times,
The thinner my friend became.
And I feel a bit guilty using him
To his demise, it will bring me shame.
T P just rolled over softly.
Alas, he’s now three sheets to the wind.
He no longer has a square to spare,
Oh how I will miss him.
I see he has one of his kin,
Beneath the cabinet where I am stooped.
By the time I get to talk to him,
Being tired, I will be pooped!
