Art, where art thou? Stress has grown me good and great…
But ageing and hardened – insipid and simply, tasteless.
Which once was the season, a beautifully borne infidelity
Erotically risky
Manically brash
Willingly asinine and afoul of a past’s wicked lash.
Today this dust is my skin, my voice is my math.
My math is my money with my money my path.
Art, where art thou? Shine like the colors that light up the sunset
Colorfully canvas the sky, open me up, make my dust fall away…

This is a powerful expression of self observation, an indepth scrutiny of life's path and consequences,a self examination leading to an expression of a future want and hope.If I am to be honest it's very effective but not sure about the opening line. |
