Thousand years ago
in the city of Bethlehem
was born a baby boy
on a manger of straw
so tender and mild
the saviour of mankind
it is this little boy
whose name is Jesus
now sitted in the heavenlies
above all powers and principalities
we celelebrate today
christmas day
yes its christmas
the season of abundance
hymns and carols
trees and cards
jingle jingle goes the bell
yeah christmas' in the air
