Hurts to Dream

Contributed by BritVent on Thursday, 22nd December 2011 @ 05:15:05 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

Sometimes it hurts to dream. when you wake up to find out that it was just a dream, what's the point of dreaming when reality get's harder and harder.
Nobody realizes that the people who usually dream, might be ones that are physically or mentally abused, having no self-worth at all.Life is depressing and for those who go through the abuse it hurts to dream of being in a better place then wake up to reality.
Whats the point of dreaming so big when reality stares you in the face and your still hurting. But your trying to cope with the pain you feel inside. It's reality that pushes people to the edge.
Nobody realizes that the people who usually dream, might be ones that are physically or mentally abused, having no self-worth at all.Life is depressing and for those who go through the abuse it hurts to dream of being in a better place then wake up to reality.

The truth is that many dreams do not come true. Dreams die or grow into nightmares, unless by need, by some preternatural instinct to survive, the dream becomes something more. The dream becomes ambition, ambition becomes drive, and drive becomes addiction. It is not about what your addiction is, but what your dream is, and if you really believe it.

Keep writing. Always, Abraham

Too many times do I seek to escape reality but I see where this is coming from. Very good.
