There Sits Darkness
There sits darkness
At table number five,
Dealing blackjack with a spade
Here plays beauty with her eyes,
Trying heaven in a throw
of dead men dice
Here comes ramble
with his ragged coat and old guitar.
He can’t gamble without his bones
And there lies old man age,
He’ll play his poems for angels now
From underneath the stone
