Shades of Green
____JG______
Sun up moon down
Moon up sun down
smile up frown down
Sit up Bow down
I thought the grass was greener so i hopped the fence
I landed on some **** slipped and saw 2 cents
Mmm my grass WAS greener so i hopped the fence
A new day a new neighbor i takea peak hoping he doesnt take offense
Boy his grass is really green so i hopped the fence
I picked up a blade it was neon green makin no sense
I walked around some more before i realized its plastic what a fake
Mmm my grass WAS greener what a mistake
So i hopped the fence home again
Just then i notice another yard this ones a perfect ten
So i hopped the fence
And what i landed in was to intense
2 blood hungry beast waiting in suspense
The grass was greener but to live i had to hop the fence
Hungry Beast stampeding towards me
Heart racing mind pacing i gotta flee
I just wanna go back to my grass
Its to late the beast caught up and thats my ass
Lifeless being torn limb from limb i noticed his grass was blood red
Mmm my grass WAS greener to bad im dead...
.....
.....
.....
.....
"Rest in Pieces I hope it was worth a different shade of green"

Your message was great. I like the red and green theme.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
