The bottom of the room.

The cars are a tragedy
The verdant sheen of windows and paint
On flat twinkling starlight
Spinning madly with the streetlight
The crest of moonlight’s
Lost desire
Trying to unfold
Lost beneath the sounding
Of Ineffable lyrics
Of glory and speed
Lost beneath a true desire
The rhythm and bell
Of tarmac and fire
The glass is a malady
A dance of color on the moon
Flashing alabaster glances
Stepping too slightly
At the bottom of the room
Stepping angrily
With time
The power of moonlight
And its abdominal sheen
Twinkling starlight
Cast to dust
The cars are a tragedy
The end of time and its design
Standing inside
Watching the rain
Waiting for us to stop.
