I am practicing for the Christmas Choir,
To be held later today at the mall.
My mommy’s bathing me while I practice.
She thinks I’m getting very big and tall!
We will sing about the baby Jesus,
In the Bethlehem stable shed.
We will tell about the star that led them,
Three kings and very wise men!
Mommy you have scrubbed my face enough.
Can you do it faster please?
I need to get out of this bathtub,
Get dressed to eat pork and beans!
We will sing a song called The First Noel.
I don’t know what that word means.
But it certainly has a pretty tune.
Everyone sings it Christmas Eve!
While we sing parents get tears in their eyes.
It’s the strangest sight I’ve ever seen.
Don’t they know we could never hurt them
Just look around, we’re not that mean!
Joy To The World,
It’s exactly what we want to say.
Thanks for coming to hear our choir,
Hope we brought Christmas Cheer your way!
