His Nothingness

Contributed by Deidra_Carmichael on Wednesday, 21st December 2011 @ 10:17:48 AM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

How on Earth can you evade divine truth
What has steered you away from acknowledging the light
Of Day and the dark of Night's originator
Is there not a dimmer image you see due to clouded thinking

Clearly Three points must be introduced to turn you
From the five found in the beast's lair and even fashion
The deeds you find just are abhorrent in my Father's eyes
Then again you ignore Him and label His all as His nothing
I ponder how you can view beauty through such a spyglass

Shall I use myself as an example for argument's sake
One you treasure and endear over every jewel
You cannot fathom how I am so trusting filled with love
Tell me darling how these traits are not inherited
From Heaven Above let alone it's founder
Therefore dearest I beg to differ with you
Perhaps I can convince you that all did not derive from
Nothingness

his nothingness is in truth HIS Everything
as you have tried to convey to your friend
who has departed from the faith. From
such have nothing more to do with them
but continue in prayers for them. Powerful
write of truth and God's forgiveness.
Blessings, Robert Edgar Burns (Rob)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
