Calamity

Empathy - - I am you. He is
In care - - agony - - I feel it so
For he is in pain and hapless
I am separated by many a
Mile . Cursed geography

Wouldst that I could be there
By your side as any friend
Should be but no - - damn
Kismet - - my kindred spirit
Lies in a hospital bed - - alone

What manner of higher being
Wouldst give and - - perhaps - -
Take away with the brush of a
Single hand at the blink of an eye
Shame on you - - noxious God

I hope my friend knows that I
Am with him and suffer greatly
I share the pain and would take
It from him and bear it would
Anyone come to me and ask

David hear my call to you for
If you listen you will hear me
Fear not for I will come to you
In dreams and take your hand
So that I may channel the pain

Godspeed should He be listening
And feel guilt for His actions - -
For I believe Him to be a worthy
God capable of error - - as now - -
But able to right His mistake...

Your anger and frustration come through clearly as does your worry for your friend. your a good friend al and im sure your friend knows that and Im sure your mate knows you would be there if you could
