I hope you didn't forget about me

With you is where I want to be

If I could wish upon a star,

I'd wish that, baby, you weren't so far

Being apart from you increases the pain

If I could, I'd be stuck like a stain

Thinking of you hurts the most

Everyday I go from pillar to post

My hurt keeps growing the more you're on my mind

All I'm really doing is falling behind

No matter how much I keep on trying

I'll always end up sitting here crying

But all I want you to know is that I'm missing you,

And I hope you're missing me too...

very good work, well written and the rhyming scheme is first rate. Your emotions come through clearly and cause the reader to empathize. Well done
