I am confused
this is not new
for what the winds may blow
the opinions will vary
the tides come and go
beckoning ideas carefree
utter benevolence shielded unwieldy
Simple story carried on in integral bewilderment
harkening a simpler time
opposed only in prerequisite squalor
This is my life
seeing nothing to completion
random dreams and promises unkept
Failing mostly myself

I think this is a great expression of a universal feeling for many. It certainly describes perfectly the first twenty five years of my life. |
