Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Skies of silver moonlight, seas of glass and shores of gold
Laughter as a diamond as the flames grow dull and cold
Children and their melodies are now becoming still
What was once a heartbeat as become a haunting chill
Stars among the sky fade to the darkest shade of grey
Nightmares of the innocent turn young ones into prey
Knives beneath the sunlight shine like gems under the sky
Murdering the harmless without saying their goodbyes
Bullets shooting freely through the cool and icy breeze
Raindrops falling quickly while the air begins to freeze
Daffodils and daisies lying still among the ground
Roses of the devil screeching loud without a sound
Please, I mustn't struggle through these things I've tried to fight
Here is my farewell to you, for it all ends tonight.

Daddy, don't forget me, hang this poem on the wall
Mommy, please do treasure my dear blue eyed baby doll
To my older sister, make them gladsome, make them proud
Show them how to love someone, to make the world spin round
Make them laugh and dance, please make them grin and make them smile…
To my baby sister, well… I’ve gone out for a while.
To my closest friends, don't worry much about the past
After all, our friendship was the only thing to last.

Once upon a time’s are meant for dreams and storybooks
But once I pull the trigger, then the story gets you hooked.
Sometimes things are meant to fade, like shadows in the light
But please don't shed a tear...
My deepest wounds were healed tonight...
