Well what do you think, mentor of mine
Has this mere ditty resulted in a sign
That perhaps my potential is released in full
Never again shall my abilities be deemed dull

You observe my daily struggle to prove my worth
Surely this is accompanied by jest and mirth
Nay, you see right through these laughing eyes
I am one striving perfection in disguise

So here I am evermore in attempt to please your ear
And I now see my companion should never be fear
For you approve of the mediocre improv of my song
Therefore showing my whole gift I cannot steer wrong
