Life's Prayer

There's a prayer I pray to God above
I ask of His never ending love
Please put me where I need to be
So that I can see what I need to see

Sometimes the place is a bit strange
Sometimes the duty seems out of range
Often the face is new and unknown
I pray the path will soon be shown

I believe that He will guide my way
As I struggle through each day
I keep in my heart the hope and will
That I will do all that is needed still

My faith in this prayer is never shattered
He guides my had in all that matters
I keep all I love and friends I know
Safe and happy, the best way to go

I know my life does not only depend
On God's Hand guiding me to the end
I am responsible for all my choices
When I'm right, I know He rejoices

Believe in yourself and in His love
Life will flow like the wings of a dove
You and He can face the worst and best
You will always pass life's tests
