She-Demon

So now She comes - - majestic beauty - - her name - -
I know not - - tormenting in the darkness - - teasing - -
Pleasing to the eye with such lines. Unyielding - -
She pushes me back against the wall - - a game?

What has brought me hence to unholy torment?
Is this a play of the Gods with me the object
Of their schemes? Hear you now - - I reject
This foul intrusion! Stop this hence - - relent!

The beauteous visage breaks open to reveal - -
Sweet horror! A demon hides within this form!
Sharp of tooth and ghastly countenance revealed

I pray - - summoning all within me - - salvation
Denied. I am forsaken. Closer - - She comes - -
Onward. What now? I steel myself - - waiting...

Really well written al, Gothic poetry is not something i've really read before, but i found myself drawn into every word. Plus the she-demon reminds me of pretty much every girl i've ever dated lol.
