THE CHRISTMAS PICKPOCKET!

I was in the store at Walmart
To pick out a card just for you.
At the register I reached for my wallet,
It was gone, now what could I do?
All left there was the biker chain
I’d wear with my Harley attire.
A pickpocket had taken my billfold,
What a mean spirited Christmas Quagmire!
To make this story as brief as I can,
For I know you have shopping to do,
The security cameras caught the crook
Who looked an awful lot just like you!
My mood had changed and I thought in vain
Of some way to salvage my day.
I’ll forward this letter with greetings,
Hoping you won’t notice no card came your way!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Well I must admit I get a laugh out of your poem. It sounds exactly like my friend's cynical humor. Thanks for posting and making my day,
