We had a friendship that meant more than diamonds,
It only took one boy to change that in a second.
He always thought he was better than us both,
But little did he know he was merely a hastle.
Sorted into different houses it seemed destined,
That maybe we weren't supposed to be two made one.
I tried so hard to forget about you and my love,
But everytime I saw you I feel deeper and deeper.
Our last year and we no longer spoke to one another,
Myself, joined the evil and you made a family.
Married him and left me in the ditch to fade away,
Along came a son and everything changed that day.
An old man came and graced me with his presence,
Told me about the tragic fate that had become.
Both you and your husband now floating above,
All that was left of you was a son with your eyes.
So for you sweet angel I'll protect him from harm,
No one will get near and it'll be our little secret.
When he asks why I did it after all these years,
I'll simply reply with one word - always.
