Symphony In Style
You always bring to me a smile
My love my symphony in style
Who does beguile me, entreat me
Now I beg you, set me free
From moribund days of boredom.
The air is fresh where’re you walk
A simple glance, the way you talk;
That funny little gesture when
You scrunch your nose and suck your pen.
Everything you do is stylish.
We pass a shop, without a care
You’re chasing in as on a dare;
Clothes fly up and round the room
You bring the light into the gloom
A simple smile is all it takes.
I take you in my arms and lost
I flounder round despite the cost,
The cost of being single, how
I want you as a partner now.
The days for us are long and true.
So darling please just be with me
I need your love, I need the glee
Of seeing you on every morn
On every day, on every dawn,
Until our times are finally run.

Yo! Start savin' your pesos! I think you got a diamond ring to buy! You're smitten -- surrender! Beautiful warm sensitive sweet poem! --David [aka FH ] |
