The window is cloudy and silent
Listening for what I once saw
My eyes look for reason
The clarity dismissed like the dawn
The window is dark and murky
Decisions seem hard to hold
I know the ones I love are in there
They call me like days of old
Wondering what has changed
I see the reflection I’ve become
Saddened by foggy notions
Beaten down by his drum
Longing for days ago
That seem now surreal
Distant now and lonely
The window will not reveal

For heaven's sake. I'll loan ya the
money for some Windex. Will even
provide the elbow grease! Smiles!
