In that Garden of perfection
God made Adam and then Eve.
He knew man would need a partner
So He then could take his leave!
In my life Dad was the Adam
And my mother was his Eve.
They modeled how true love is,
And it always influenced me.
Dad he was a strong man
And to me seemed very tall!
My mom was soft and tender
And her countenance quite small.
But when they worked together
It amazed me what got done.
I never was ashamed of them
And was proud to be their son!
As their only child, at times,
I was glad to play with toys.
Just kidding, there are two sisters,
And I was the oldest of two boys!
Getting back to my dad Adam
And his lovely bride called Eve.
They both live now in Heaven,
Junior and Bobbie live with The King!
My Daddy’s name was really Clarence,
And his middle name was Edgar.
Thank Goodness I’m not a Junior,
I would have turned into a beggar!
