I went along to the county fair.
I had nothing else to do.
And right there in the center,
Was a kissing booth and you.
I shook my head and walked by,
The longest line of all.
But turning slightly and glancing,
I was in awe of what I saw.
The fair disappeared behind me.
I was locked and frozen in time.
For I found myself now standing
At the head of that very long line.
I grabbed every dollar I had then.
I did not want to walk away.
I sold all of my possessions,
For at your booth I wanted to stay.
And just as I touched your sweet lips,
Where Heaven was one kiss away,
I suddenly woke from a dream dear,
Where I’ll look for you later today!
