Waking in this ocean of blue I look around-
Seeing a watery world, I start to swim to the
surface.
But, alas am impeded by the shackles of your
love.
Left here to drown in my worries while you
play games with the fish.
I strain against the bonds 'round my ankles.
And wonder why I fell for you.
I guess you don't know I can't survive here.
Or maybe you do and you only wanted me for
yourself.
Alas, now I'll die, here amoungst the world
where we met.
Taking in floods of this briny water,
here I'll be-
Lifeless, for you to see.
