Amusingly amusing

Contributed by wordsy on Saturday, 3rd May 2003 @ 12:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Amusingly amusing,
was all the muse would say
Hauntingly confusing,
in it’s own amusing way
Thoroughly enticing,
In the way that it did tease
Caught upon my tongue
in a way that it would please
The ears of all who hear
and the pages where it’s set
And the thoughts that now are of pleasure,
least we not forget
That though we all are searching,
a truth we would have known
through the teachings of our muse,
amusingly we are shown
The wisdom in the markings
of a man upon the wall
As he answers to his muse
in the words that he does scrawl.
