I am lost
In the woods
I feel insignificant
In this massive forestry
I am lonely
Beneath these many branches
I am misunderstood
These leafs don’t speak my language
I have a lot to offer
But nobody wants the fruit I bear
I feel rejected
My skin isn’t thick as bark
I am unstable
They have the allusion of roots
I am tired
Of seeing trees

I've been 'mongst our twenty acres of foothill forest (7600 to 7800 ft) for twenty-three year and learned to perform my poetry to the trees. Now even people listen 'cause I practiced. Try it; it's liberatin' 'n' afterwards ya can't have any fears in the forest if ya've worked an effective delivery to yer audience. Good capture of yer situation.
