if i turn it to cold
will i forget your name
if i tie up the curtains
will it still hurt the same
the nightmares remind the faces
your smile rewinds the days
bruised fingers throw the dice
sevens down the line
bruised feelings served on ice
hold it hold it hold it tight
too fit to flick
the clockwork sends peeping toms
hole in my heart
hole in my head
tell me true girl im not really dead
haunt me a little longer
how do you sleep at night
sedation sedation
ennui masturbation
ill be late to the party
save me a chair in the back
ill wear the mask
you sewed it over my eyes
ink wells spill black oil
wretched tears
the watercolor melancholy smears the draft
why?
white noise crying
exhaust from a corpse
brain dead abuser
sedation sedation
asphyxiation
run the gamut boy
run run run

Abstract poetry defined is simply this:
Poetry that aims to use its sounds, textures, rhythms, and rhymes to convey an emotion, instead of relying on the meanings of words.
In this poem, you have certainly met your
objective! Enjoyed this!
Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns |

the lyrics as far as they go are modern ... I don't know much about music but I think there should be some repetition ( chorus ... bridge?) the word masturbation kills it for me but that's just me ... |
