What is love but pain reversed,
And what is pain but love at its worst,
What is death but life in a hearse?
And what is life but death’s dessert,
Every day is a step towards night,
Every death gives breath to life,
What is Spring but Winter’s demise,
A reflection of life’s contradictory sides,
I’ve learned to love my sunsets,
As much as my sunrise,
Why do we laugh when a baby is born?
But cry when one dies,
When in a minute the deceased,
Will pass through another womb,
Yet that baby has just made,
His first steps toward the tomb,
I cry the same tears that precipitate the earth,
And smile bright like the sun that gave it, its birth,
Ignorant minds are the teachers of the enlightened,
Enlightenments merely a simple mind heightened,
I analyzed life and what it taught me,
Is take the good with the bad,
And the bitter with the sweet!

Written with, what this ol' cowboy would call, eclat. Maybe I mean magic. Polarity. Ain't it the balancin' act of beautifully natural things. This piece reminds us the goes around comes around of life 'n' beyond. Nice job!
