Have you ever seen a one pound deer?
The miracle of life, has never been more clear.
Months before it had, come to full term,
It’s mother was killed, by a car that turned.
A Cesarean delivery, saved the little guy,
In Ocala, Florida, though it’s mommy died.
He is very thin, and extremely small.
He only weighs a pound, and is six inches tall.
His eyes are open in the surgeon’s hands,
He looks around and trusts this man!
Had he been human, there are those who say,
"He lives not yet, throw him away!"
