Topic: abstract

Tell me that you live for me, the fool standing by your side
Show me that you give to me your smile, let go of your pride.
Following the sun, a chase we are doomed to endure
Lovers on the run, a mask we wear, no longer are we pure.
The one choice you cannot make is that of dire fate.
The one love you cannot have is that of your perfect mate.
I waste my time, I create the fire.
Never has it been a crime to feul your own desire.
And if the stakes are high, my heart it will never mend.
The rivers eventually run dry, but why i will never understand.
