Loneliness, my bitter love, you're such a faithful companion. You pledged your lifelong friendship to me, but that's not what I had in mind. Loneliness, you greet me wherever I go. I try to escape but wherever I turn you face me with a sly, smooth, smile of pain. Loneliness, why must you stay? I kissed you once, but you've left such a bitter taste in my mouth, it weakens me at the knees. When I fall, you hold out your hand with that "i told you so" expression on your face. Loneliness, my bitter love, you're such a faithful companion.
