In all my days
I have not seen
A woman's eyes
Of such a green
Her eyes, as green
As Spring's first bloom
She could see my soul
From across the room
Her eyes, they vex me
I cannot sleep
I must make her
Mine to keep
I'd give the world
Its not a lie
For one more look
Into her eyes

That's where the love will truly be found.
Our lips may lie, but our eyes always
speak the truth!
MIRRORS OF THE SOUL
Reflecting light as if a mirror,
But twinkling as a distant star.
Deep shimmering pools of dark beauty,
With my image returning to me.
Entrancing and captivating while
Time halts in place and I’m lost
In an unknown dimension.
Heart pounding, blood pulsing
Sensations abounding as I long
To remain forever locked in the gaze
Of your breathtaking majestic brown eyes.
Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns (Rob)
