The one that got away.

We got to know each other just as friends. Then we were closer than ever. Knew every secret we had, shared everything we had, and stayed up all night just talking on the phone. Lived every day as 1 and nothing more. Sang songs to you when you were down, called you perfect when you thought you weren’t, always ment every word I ever said. After all we did, we walk through the halls and I look into your eyes, you look away. Now we live life not knowing one another. So I say good bye and farewell to my past and vow to only look upon it with not sorrow, but with meaning and purpose to change the mistakes I have made with you.
