You come in sorrow
You come in pain
You come to borrow
You come in shame
You’re here to cry
To let your insides die
I want you to let you know
I’m here
I won’t go
Don’t fear
I’ll be a bucket for your tears
A basket for your cries
I’ll take away your fears
I’ll look deep into your eyes
Feel no shame
Let me take your pain
Feel free to cry
Just look me in the eye
So much past
So little known
I forge a new mask
One that can be shown
I’ll always be here for you
You’re my friend
There’s nothing you can do
I’ll be here till the end
I’ll look deep in your eyes
I’ll steal your pain
I’ll listen to your cries
I’ll take away your shame
I wish I could show you
How I feel inside
But there’s nothing I can do
Except look deep into your eyes
Let me take your pain
It doesn’t deserve you
Let me take your pain
He doesn’t deserve you
Your thoughts, your mind
Your heart, your smile
He doesn’t take the time
To just stop and make you smile
I’ll feed you strength
I’ll take your pain
I expect no thanks
Only your pain
Let me keep it locked inside
I’ll always stay your friend
I only wish to look deep into your eyes
And see you happy, until the end.
