I cannot cry

Topic: oops

I cannot cry
JamesHowlett

I feel this pain deep inside,
But I know I cannot cry,
For this pain I feel inside,
Does not deserve tears…I can’t cry.

My life’s a joke,
Why can’t I be that guy?
One of the ‘better’ folk,
Oh God…why can’t I cry?

How many nights I’ve tried,
The tears just won’t fall,
In my mind I’ve lied,
And to my friends that never call.

Here I sit alone,
These tears in my eyes,
I think to myself “I’ll always be alone”,
With unshed tears in my eyes.

I look to the stars,
Beautiful in the sky,
Then look down at my scars,
And scream “Why won’t you let me die?!”

These unshed tears burn inside my eyes,
They shall not fall,
For I live with too many lies,
Never shall a drop fall.

My masks in place,
The day before me calls,
Then I see your face,
And my whole world falls.

These unshed tears in my eyes,
They come from your smile,
The strong man never cries,
Instead the tears just pile.

It has to end,
I have to cry,
Please God send,
A way for me to die.

Let my world crash down,
No one gives a damn,
I can’t hear a sound,
I raise my hand…BAM!

I fall to the ground,
I still can’t cry,
There’s blood all around,
God, why won’t you let me die?

you can't cry because emotions you put on paper and you can't die we all love you too much you have too many things left undone, unsaid. Great job once again

Felt this too, can't cry either and I am a female. Not that it makes a difference but I always cried before, now the tears just won't fall.

These unshed tears burn inside my eyes
They shall not fall
For I live with too many lies
Never shall a drop fall

Boy, that's powerful thank you
Theresa
