I never got the chance to meet you, your cheek I never got to kiss.
I race toward you in my dreams,but when I blink I always miss.
Tears roll down my face, as I stare into the clouds,
wondering if you know who I am, do I ever make you frown?
I was nothing but a child myself, when you passed away.
I'd give anything in this world, to go back and visit that day.
Sometimes I cant help but wonder, why you had to leave,
Momma made it clear to me, another Angel GOD would need.
One day I'll finally get to meet you, place a kiss upon your cheek.
Til then I have your presents with me, when I lay down at night to sleep.
Closing my eyes helps me paint a picture, of how I think you'd be.
A smile so big and beautiful, for all the world to see.
I miss you more as the days pass, nothing cures the pain.
The only thing that hides the tears, is when it starts to rain.
I love you dearly, although we didnt meet.
I think of you often, see you more in my dreams.
